Marine life education entity purchases conference center in Exeter

EXETER – An entity that plans to produce environmental programs on marine life has purchased a property in Exeter most recently owned by the National Sheriff’s Association.

The newly incorporated WarFish Shark Research Center LLC purchased 742 Ten Rod Road on Aug. 9, according to online real estate records. The purchase price was $375,000.

Built in 2000, the single-story building covers 4,380 square feet and sits on a 4-acre lot.

The registered agent for WarFish is attorney Joshua Teverow, of Providence.

The sale was brokered by Eric Schultheis, an agent with Sweeney Real Estate & Appraisal.
